Seeking Help
I appreciate people taking their time
to contact and ask for my advice it's overwhelming. However, I am not qualified
to give legal advice and every situation surrounding domestic violence,
rape and/or suicide
is different. At times
it is the difference between life or death.
The best I can do for people seeking
help is give them a place to start with a list of organizations:
Sacred Circle National Resource
Center to End Violence Against Native Women

Rapid City,
South Dakota 57701
Phone: 877-RED-ROAD (733-7623)
or email: scircle@sacred-circle.com
or www.sacred-circle.com
White Buffalo Knife Consulting

or www.whitebuffaloknife.com
National Resource Center on Domestic Violence
6400 Flank Drive, Suite 1300

or www.nrcdv.org
National Health Resource Center on Domestic Violence

San Francisco, California 94103-5133
Phone: 888-Rx-Abuse (792-2873) or TTY: 800-595-4889
For those people who would like to help in some way:
Former Colorado Senator Ben Nighthorse Campbell was instrumental
in having a first class postage stamp issued: Stop Family Violence
~ please ask your local post office for details.
These organizations will help the abused
and abuser but they will need to make contact first with people that are qualified to help them.
May, my website continue to be an
instrument of healing to bring insight to abuse situations.
Hope for people with that overwhelming feeling of
hopelessness. God Speed!
