Famous Lakota

My hat's off to Tim Giago ~ Lakota Elder ~

Why? 

Last year 2007 Tim was inducted into the South Dakota Newspaper Hall of Fame ~ Tim's built a strong foundation to better the lives of all people especially Native American Nations.  How many years did it take for his peers to recognize and acknowledge his major accomplishments? 

Also, Tim's family, friends and the Lakota Nation need to be acknowledged for their enormous sacrifices through the years too. 

I'm confident Tim did not become a journalist and the first Native American owner of newspaper companies/business man just to be a "Famous Lakota" in the white man's world ~ 

I've been accused of using my web site and books as a way to become "famous" ! 
Sure! 

Why would I continue to make sacrifices endure rejection from my family and friends? 

Right now I could end the rejection "shut down my web site" and not publish my next book of abuse  ~  that's all! 

For the record Tim knows I hate grammar nor is it one of my strengths. 

God's blessed me with many gifts and talents such as training horses ~ 

If, I were really seeking "fame"   ~   I would've used "my royal Meriwether bloodline" too Captain Meriwether Lewis, continue to train horses rather than write about  "abuse"! 

My main connection with Tim Giago  ~  we're the first to acknowledge when we make a mistake and writing about a subject we'll sign our name to the article nor does it matter who knows  ~ 

Life is an open book  ~
